About the position

The Sales Associate - Keyholder at America's Best is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by selling, fitting, and dispensing eyewear. This role also includes keyholder responsibilities such as opening and closing the store and ensuring compliance with store procedures in the absence of management. The position emphasizes meeting sales objectives while fostering an inclusive environment for both associates and customers.

Responsibilities

• Sell, fit, and dispense eyewear to customers.
• Open and close the store as a Keyholder.
• Ensure compliance with store procedures and policies when management is not present.
• Meet National Vision's sales and company objectives.
• Adhere to National Vision's Code of Conduct.
• Foster an inclusive and respectful environment for associates and customers.
• Assist with dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses as permitted by state law.
• Perform insertion and removal training of contact lenses to customers as permitted by state law.
• Educate clients on proper eyeglass and contact lens care.
• Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
• Notify customers when orders are ready or of any delays.
• Assist customers in selecting eyewear and recommending appropriate products.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls according to National Vision protocol.
• Maintain cleanliness of all equipment, workstations, and the overall facility based on safety protocols.
• Ensure inventory control and loss prevention procedures are followed.
• Maintain visual merchandising according to Brand and Company Standards.

Requirements

• 1+ years related experience or training in retail/customer service preferred.
• Strong selling skills aimed at meeting store and self-sales targets.
• Ability to give clear and concise instructions to customers.
• Ability to interact courteously and professionally with all levels of employees.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
