The Sales Associate at LensCrafters plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and sales support in the optical retail environment. This part-time position focuses on enhancing the customer experience by assisting with frame selection, utilizing optical prescriptions, and fostering relationships with customers to meet sales goals. The Sales Associate is integral to establishing LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision care in the community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plan and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Optician as needed.
• Participate actively in creating a positive store environment and foster strong relationships with peers, management, and support staff.
• Maintain the appearance of the store by keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
