About the position

The Sales Associate, also referred to as the Orangetheory Ambassador, plays a crucial role in promoting Orangetheory Fitness by generating leads and closing sales. This position focuses on building relationships with customers, providing exceptional service, and sharing the fitness experience offered by Orangetheory. The ideal candidate is outgoing, has a passion for fitness, and possesses strong customer service and sales skills.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and close sales for Orangetheory Fitness.
  • Build relationships with customers and create referrals.
  • Assist in running all front of house fitness studio operations.
  • Meet and exceed key performance sales indicators, including membership sales and renewals.
  • Conduct telephone inquiries and follow-up calls with customers.
  • Lead studio tours for prospects and fitness program holders.
  • Greet members and guests promptly and enthusiastically.
  • Maintain accurate records using established sales systems.
  • Process cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Respond immediately to member requests and inquiries.
  • On-board new clients using Client Intake Forms and Membership Agreements.
  • Participate in 1-2 scheduled workouts per week.
  • Attend and participate in all relevant training programs.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous sales experience with strong sales skills, preferably in a quota-bearing structure.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
  • Functional computer skills, including MS Office and basic software use.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
