About the position

The Sales Associate/Part Time Key Holder at Poupette St Barth is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while promoting the brand's luxury resort-wear products. This role involves engaging with customers, managing inventory, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales, particularly in high-end fashion, and will be expected to meet sales goals while fostering positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers throughout the store, providing information about products and services.
• Maintain a superior knowledge of the product offerings to facilitate upselling.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked, participating in frequent cleanup.
• Facilitate customer inquiries and resolve escalated requests promptly.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude, representing the brand effectively.
• Build brand awareness and highlight the unique characteristics of the products.
• Participate in team meetings to set personal goals and stay updated on promotions.
• Notify clientele of sales and new merchandise via phone, email, and messaging services.
• Receive shipments, log new arrivals into the POS system, and maintain inventory organization.
• Monitor for shoplifters and report security issues to management.
• Meet and exceed sales goals, encouraging team performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of retail sales experience, preferably in high-end fashion.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and retail POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual speaking skills are a plus.
• College graduates preferred.
• Experience in luxury fashion retail is highly preferred.
