About the position

The Sales Associate at Alo Yoga is responsible for achieving store sales goals by embodying the Alo experiences and Brand Mission. This role focuses on creating authentic connections with customers, providing product education, and promoting the community and culture of Alo Yoga. The Sales Associate is expected to thrive in a team environment, contribute positively to the store atmosphere, and engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Impacts the business and store environment positively by aligning with store leadership and company goals.
  • Drive and exceed sales goals by leading Alo's initiatives while optimizing productivity and efficiency.
  • Ensure engagement with customers and provide a friendly and easy shopping environment.
  • Build client relationships daily with customers.
  • Analyze reports in partnership with the leadership team to strategize and deliver results, focusing on deficient areas and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure effective sales floor coverage through workforce solutions and leading selling initiatives as needed.
  • Educate on guest-facing initiatives on the floor, including store goals and new product launches.
  • Introduce all facets of the Alo business model through personal testimony and knowledge.
  • Leverage company tools, incentives, and strategies to support meeting store goals.
  • Resolve client needs quickly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Educate guests and staff on products, community, and culture.
  • Understand and protect the daily schedule prioritizing the best business strategy with Store Leadership.
  • Assist in processing shipment and ensuring product flow, including visual merchandising and replenishment excellence.
  • Execute all front and back of house procedures in accordance with company policy and procedure.
  • Support other areas of the business, including Sales and Cashier, as needed.

Requirements

  • Preferred 1+ years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment.
  • Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
  • High energy, upbeat, and enthusiastic with the ability to integrate fun and work.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as a team.
  • Fosters genuine connection through empathy, compassion, integrity, and building trusting relationships.
