About the position

The Sales Associate at Tommy Hilfiger is responsible for promoting and selling merchandise while providing exceptional customer service. This part-time role involves various operational tasks as assigned by store management, ensuring the store is visually appealing and well-stocked, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide TH Customer Service to company standards.
  • Maintain appropriate merchandise levels on the sales floor.
  • Ensure the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
  • Minimize shortages through proper loss prevention procedures.
  • Demonstrate awareness of store sales plans and individual contributions to business results.
  • Follow all operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attend staff meetings and participate in Take 5 meetings as required.
  • Generate maximum sales potential in accordance with TH Customer Service standards.
  • Build a repeat customer base through excellent service.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of products, promotions, and special events for effective selling.
  • Foster a positive store experience for customers and staff.
  • Maintain zone coverage and prioritize customer service over assigned tasks.
  • Represent the TH image through personal and professional appearance.
  • Demonstrate professional image and conduct, and communicate concerns to management.
  • Support all company and management decisions, adapting to schedule changes as needed.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures regarding loss prevention and store readiness.
  • Execute opening and closing checklist duties as directed by management.
  • Lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ensure accurate replenishment of products and comply with visual presentation standards.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Entry-level position with no prior experience required.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work rotating hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
