About the position

The Sales Associate position at Kirkland's is a part-time role focused on delivering an exceptional shopping experience to customers. The associate will engage in various operational tasks, including selling, cashiering, and merchandising, while maintaining a strong commitment to customer service and company values.

Responsibilities

• Supports and values Customer Service in both the in-store and online shopping experience.
• Actively engages with all customers modeling exceptional selling behaviors.
• Greets every customer with enthusiasm, maintaining a positive attitude at all times.
• Proactively engages with customers, reads cues, and responds appropriately.
• Educates each customer on loyalty programs, current promotions, and merchandise assortment to support building the basket.
• Supports the company's branding by treating all customers and co-workers with respect and professionalism.
• Achieves or exceeds goals associated with company initiatives and programs.
• Assists in the receipt of all merchandise in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
• Maintains an efficient and organized sales floor and stockroom.
• Maintains merchandise presentation, pricing, and accuracy of inventory levels.

• May perform other duties as necessary.
