Responsibilities

• Promote a friendly and welcoming environment for all customers.
• Greet all customers positively and professionally as they enter the store.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting desired merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Process cash register transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Thank every customer for their purchase and support of the Goodwill Mission.
• Display merchandise correctly and assist customers in coordinating items.
• Prepare merchandise for proper stock rotation and timely stocking of items.
• Report any accidents or unsafe conditions to a supervisor promptly.
• Assist management with training volunteers and trainees.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Effective communication skills to convey the Goodwill Mission to customers.
• Ability to work with people of all abilities and maintain a positive demeanor.
