About the position

The Sales Associate at Pearle Vision plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional eye care services and products to customers. This position focuses on building strong relationships with patients, assisting them in selecting the right eyewear solutions, and achieving sales goals while fostering a positive store environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plan and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Optician as needed.
• Participate actively in creating a positive store environment and foster strong relationships with peers, management, and support staff.
• Maintain the appearance of the store by keeping displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators; basic phone and math skills
• Ability to embrace new technology and change with high accuracy
• Strong sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
