About the position
The Sales Associate/Photographer position at the Santa Set in Carolina Place is a temporary, part-time, seasonal role focused on providing memorable experiences for guests during the holiday season. The role involves working closely with the Local Manager to lead and motivate the team, assist with operational tasks, and ensure customer satisfaction through quality service and photography.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Local Manager in leading, developing, and motivating the local team.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Help with preparations for the opening day, including hiring, inventory, equipment setup, and staff scheduling.
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
- Address and resolve customer concerns to ensure optimal guest experiences.
- Lead by example and reinforce company policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate them as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as inventory and training.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old (16 and 17-year-olds require a NC work permit).
- Must pass a background check if 18 or older.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to process sales transactions and handle cash.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 20 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous retail or assistant manager experience preferred.
- Photography experience preferred.
