As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for generating sales by exhibiting passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends with all customers. You will execute initiatives and tasks as assigned by the leadership team, and work as a positive member of the store team to consistently provide an exceptional customer experience. A day in the life of a Sales Associate includes delivering an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience with all customers. You will focus on full-price selling while maintaining awareness of product value and promotions. Handling customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures is essential, as is attempting to "solve for yes" and partnering with leadership when dealing with escalated issues. Completing all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner is crucial, as is executing all visual directives and maintaining visual standards set by the company. You will support high standards of organization and cleanliness, promoting a safe working and shopping environment to maximize the customer experience. Upholding and complying with all company policies as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual, Code of Business Conduct, Employee Policy Guide, and the Safety Program is expected. You will also comply with all Loss Prevention policies and communicate violations directly to the leadership team or via the Silent Witness Hotline. Sharing feedback from customers with the leadership team to improve the overall customer experience is also part of your role. As a results-driven individual, you will actively participate in all company and store contests and events, stay current on all financial goals and priorities, and support the leadership team in achieving all sales and operational goals. You will also support and execute all digital sales strategies including ship from store and BOPIS within the store. Reflecting the PacSun brand by demonstrating passion and affinity for product, brands, fashion, and trends is essential. You will contribute to a positive working environment by consistently exhibiting core value behaviors and maintaining the company's fashion image by adhering to the Employee Appearance Guidelines. Demonstrating a willingness, aptitude, and initiative to learn about product, brands, fashion, and trends is key, as is striving to improve individual performance while working as a productive member of the team.

Requirements

  • Passion for product, brands, fashion and trends
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong communications skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficient in math and possesses strong computer skills
