About the position

As a Shoe Sales Associate at Von Maur, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience by building relationships and utilizing your brand knowledge. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional service, achieving sales goals, and maintaining a visually appealing department.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer experience by greeting customers sincerely and being friendly.
• Develop relationships to grow your business.
• Achieve individual sales and account goals.
• Highlight product knowledge and store services to enhance the customer experience.
• Ring POS transactions and manage key account information.
• Assist customers with sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
• Maintain a visually appealing and clean department and shoe stock room.
• Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with customers.
• Sales experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of shoe fitting and sizing is a plus.
