About the position

As a Shoe Sales Associate at Von Maur, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience in the shoe department. This position focuses on building relationships with customers, providing exceptional service, and achieving sales goals while maintaining a clean and visually appealing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the customer experience by greeting customers sincerely and being friendly.
• Develop relationships to grow your business.
• Achieve individual sales and account goals.
• Highlight product knowledge and store services to enhance customer experience.
• Ring POS transactions and manage key account information.
• Assist customers with sizing, fitting, and trying on shoes.
• Maintain a visually appealing and clean department and shoe stock room.
• Be available to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Entry-level sales experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of shoe fitting and sizing.
