About The Position
The Sales Associate at Spirit Halloween plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Management Team during the setup, merchandising, and teardown of a seasonal store. This position is essential for ensuring that the store operates smoothly and meets the company's standards for guest services. The Sales Associate will be actively involved in generating sales and maintaining a welcoming environment for customers. Responsibilities include sign waving, general housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, and operating the point of sale (POS) system. Additionally, the Sales Associate will be responsible for loss prevention, ensuring that the store's assets are protected while providing excellent customer service. The role requires a proactive approach to engaging with guests and assisting them in finding products that meet their needs. The position is seasonal, reflecting the temporary nature of the store's operations during the Halloween season. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, customer-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. The physical demands of the job include climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. Associates should be prepared for the possibility of standing or walking for up to 8 hours during their shifts.
