The Sales Associate/Tanning Consultant role at LA TAN involves providing exceptional customer service while achieving sales goals in a commission-driven environment. The position requires engaging with clients to assess their tanning needs, maintaining a clean salon, and demonstrating tanning equipment. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to earn commissions and bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Consulting with clients to determine their tanning needs
- Meeting sales goals including daily/weekly/monthly
- Building rapport with customers
- Educating customers on the ‘Rules of Tanning' and ensuring compliance with company policies
- Maintaining a clean and organized salon
- Handling cash and managing opening/closing procedures
- Data entry in the POS system, including setting up new client accounts
- Demonstrating the use of both UV and sunless equipment to new clients
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in a sales/customer service environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Motivated by achieving sales goals
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible availability including mornings, nights, and weekends
