About the position

The Sales Associate at Target Optical is responsible for delivering an exceptional optical experience to customers by combining their knowledge and personality with the needs of the guests. This role involves assisting customers in selecting eyewear, utilizing optical prescriptions, and fostering a positive store environment while achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plan and company objectives by cultivating customer relationships.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements.
• Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment and build professional relationships with peers and management.
• Maintain the appearance of the store, keeping displays and inventory organized and attractive.
• Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems and basic math skills
• Ability to embrace new technology and adapt to change
• Strong sales skills with accountability for results
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
