About the position

The Sales Associate at Target Optical is responsible for delivering an exceptional optical experience to customers by leveraging their knowledge and skills in sales and customer service. This part-time role focuses on building relationships with customers, assisting them in selecting eyewear, and ensuring a positive store environment. Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plans and meet company objectives by cultivating customer relationships.
• Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend lenses and coatings.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and coordinate with optical measurements.
• Conduct measurements using optical tools and consult with Optician as needed.
• Foster a positive store environment and build professional relationships with peers and management.
• Maintain the appearance of the store, ensuring displays and inventory are clean and organized.
• Promote an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service
• Familiarity with point of sale systems and basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to sell and meet sales goals
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and adapt to a changing environment.
