About the position
The Sales Associate at Bloomingdale's is responsible for guiding and inspiring customers to enhance their personal style through exceptional service and product knowledge. This role involves building long-term client relationships, both in-store and online, while actively engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide a seamless shopping experience. The Sales Associate will also participate in merchandising and operational tasks to maintain store standards.
Responsibilities
- Create an easy, seamless, and fun shopping experience for customers both in-store and online.
- Drive sales by effectively engaging with in-store and online clients using technology.
- Participate in merchandising and operational requirements of the role.
- Actively circulate the sales floor to determine customer needs and support their shopping experience.
- Share the benefits of Bloomingdale's Loyalty programs with customers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules and procedural manuals.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
