About the position

The Sales Associate at White House Black Market is responsible for fostering a customer-focused sales culture that emphasizes exceptional service and product knowledge. This role involves driving sales, enhancing customer experiences, and maintaining operational excellence within the store. The Sales Associate will work collaboratively with management and team members to ensure a positive shopping environment and contribute to the store's profitability.

Responsibilities

• Meets company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers.
• Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; ensures pricing and visual standards are upheld.
• Participates in visual directives including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
• Models and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards.
• Ensures prompt resolution of customer concerns and a fast register experience.
• Reinforces buying decisions at checkout and achieves add-on goals including gift card sales.
• Signs up clients for the reward program and builds a solid customer following through clienteling.
• Maintains consistent client communication through utilization of a customer book.
• Supports replenishment activities to keep the store full and abundant.
• Assists with visual directives, including floor sets and window changes.
• Promotes an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives.
