About the position

The Sales Associate at White House Black Market is responsible for fostering a customer-focused sales culture that emphasizes individual expression and a positive shopping experience. This role involves supporting management in achieving sales goals, maintaining store standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Meet company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
• Participate in visual directives including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
• Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and a fast register experience.
• Reinforce buying decisions at checkout and achieve add-on goals including gift card sales.
• Sign up clients for the reward program and build a solid customer following through clienteling.
• Maintain consistent client communication through utilization of a customer book.
• Support replenishment activities to keep the store full and abundant.
• Assist with visual directives, floor sets, and boutique cleanliness and organization.
• Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older, except for temporary, seasonal hiring needs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate with customers, associates, and management.
• Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives.
