About the position

The Sales Associate at White House Black Market is responsible for fostering a customer-focused sales culture that emphasizes exceptional service and product knowledge. This role supports management in achieving sales goals while ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. The Sales Associate will engage with customers, assist with merchandise selection, and maintain store standards, all while promoting a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Meets company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers.
• Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; ensures pricing and visual standards are upheld.
• Participates in visual directives including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
• Models and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards.
• Ensures prompt resolution of customer concerns and a fast register experience.
• Reinforces buying decisions at checkout and achieves add-on goals including gift card sales.
• Signs up clients for the reward program and builds a solid customer following through clienteling.
• Maintains consistent client communication through utilization of a customer book.
• Supports replenishment activities to keep the store full and abundant.
• Assists with visual directives, including floor sets and window changes, as directed.
• Promotes an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives.
