About the position

The Sales Associate at White House Black Market is responsible for fostering a customer-focused sales culture that emphasizes the company's values and principles. This role involves ensuring an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and profitability through effective communication and product knowledge. The Sales Associate will work collaboratively with management and team members to maintain store standards and promote a positive shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, pricing, and visual standards.
• Participate in visual directives including monthly store sets and zone maintenance.
• Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and a fast register experience.
• Reinforce buying decisions at checkout and achieve add-on goals including gift card sales.
• Sign up clients for the reward program and build a solid customer following through clienteling.
• Maintain consistent client communication through utilization of a customer book.
• Support replenishment activities to keep the store full and abundant.
• Assist with visual directives, including floor sets and window changes, as directed.
• Promote an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Retail or sales experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate with customers, Associates, and Management.
• Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives.
