About the position

The position at Zimmer Biomet is focused on ensuring that all necessary implants and instruments are prepared and ready for surgical cases. This role involves communication with customers, knowledge of Zimmer Biomet products, and collaboration with the sales team to support surgical procedures. The primary territory for this position is Worcester, MA, with additional responsibilities in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

  • Request implants and instruments necessary to cover designated surgeries through SMS.
  • Plan, coordinate, and ensure all implants and instruments are in place prior to case.
  • Coordinate surgeon schedule.
  • Report on competitor and customer activities in the field.
  • Build strong relationships with key surgeons while covering various medical procedures with clinical proficiency.
  • Adhere to all policies and SOPs regarding interaction with HCP, product handling, complaints, expense reporting, and sales activities.
  • Inform Sales Leader about market potential and territory/customer concerns.
  • Analyze sales/market data to assist in the development of territory strategy.
  • Support Zimmer Biomet sales by sharing knowledge, ideas, and references.
  • Develop relationships with internal support personnel.
  • Provide after hour and/or evening case coverage and add-on case coverage for team and/or territory, including weekend and on-call case coverage.
  • Collaborate with and provide sales support for team and/or territory, including transportation of Zimmer Biomet instruments and implants.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree or medical certification required.
  • Minimum of 0-3 years' sales or sales service experience in medical device or surgical fields.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team is essential to the job.
  • Ability to complete tasks accurately and on time, paying close attention to detail.
