About the position

The Sales Associate at Burberry is responsible for meeting and exceeding individual and store sales goals while embodying the Burberry Experience in all customer interactions. This role focuses on customer development, maintaining relationships with existing clientele, and ensuring operational excellence in a luxury retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Embrace the Burberry Experience and follow training guidelines to reflect Burberry's luxury brand standards.
  • Consistently meet individual sales goals while exhibiting the Burberry Behaviours.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and demonstrate motivation to succeed.
  • Build customer loyalty through active client development and follow-through.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and detailed client book.
  • Follow all Cultivate requirements and activities such as courtesy and relationship emails.
  • Understand and execute monthly floorsets and maintain visual standards according to Burberry guidelines.
  • Ensure the selling floor is ready for customers at the beginning of each shift and replenished at the end of each day.
  • Assist in the markdown process and participate in the bi-annual inventory process.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment.
  • Proven experience in driving sales and meeting sales targets.
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong clienteling background.
  • Advanced knowledge of POS and store systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with management and staff.
