About the position

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to communicate effectively and provide an exceptional shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales, assisting customers, and maintaining the store's overall presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products that meet those needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash register transactions accurately.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
• Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks.
• Upsell products by promoting special offers or complementary items to enhance the customer experience.
• Ensure the store remains clean, safe, and visually appealing at all times.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly while maintaining professionalism.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Proficient in phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining stock levels and store presentation.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about products and sales techniques.
