About The Position
The Sales Associate position at Ann Inc. LOFT is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment. The Sales Associate will engage in relationship building, share style and product information, and ensure that the store environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained. In this position, the Sales Associate will prioritize customer needs while balancing various tasks. They will anticipate customer requirements and strive to meet both store and individual performance goals. Active listening and applying coaching techniques during customer interactions will be essential to maximize productivity and capture opportunities. The Sales Associate will also support the business strategy, adjusting tactics as necessary to effectively reach goals. A strong understanding of fashion and current market trends is crucial, as the Sales Associate will articulate these trends in every customer interaction, representing the brand by adhering to its dress code guidelines. The role includes maintaining merchandise flow and freight processes, ensuring proper execution of visual brand standards. The Sales Associate will leverage tools to drive operational excellence through Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and complete daily tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly while meeting all brand standards. Additionally, the Sales Associate will assist with onboarding new hires and ongoing training for associates, working collaboratively with internal partners to accomplish assigned tasks. Flexibility in scheduling is required, as the Sales Associate must be available for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. The role also involves contributing to shrink prevention efforts and maintaining safety awareness in the store environment.
