About the position

The Sales Associate at Pacsun is responsible for driving sales by providing an exceptional customer experience and demonstrating a passion for products, brands, and fashion trends. This role involves executing tasks assigned by the leadership team, maintaining visual standards, and supporting store operations while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience with all customers.
• Focus on full-price selling while maintaining awareness of product value and promotions.
• Handle customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures, attempting to 'solve for yes' and partnering with leadership for escalated issues.
• Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Execute all visual directives and maintain visual standards set by the company and management team.
• Support high standards of organization and cleanliness to maximize the customer experience.
• Uphold and comply with all company policies as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual, Code of Business Conduct, Employee Policy Guide, and Safety Program.
• Comply with all Loss Prevention policies and communicate violations to the leadership team.
• Share feedback from customers with the leadership team to improve the overall customer experience.
• Actively participate in all company and store contests and events.
• Stay current on all financial goals and priorities.
• Support the leadership team in achieving all sales and operational goals.
• Support and execute all digital sales strategies including ship from store and BOPIS within the store.
• Reflect the PacSun brand by demonstrating passion and affinity for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
• Contribute to a positive working environment by consistently exhibiting core value behaviors.
• Maintain and drive the company's fashion image by adhering to the Employee Appearance Guidelines.
• Demonstrate willingness, aptitude, and initiative to learn about products, brands, fashion, and trends.
• Strive to improve individual performance while working as a productive member of the team.

Requirements

• Passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficient in math and possesses strong computer skills.
