About the position

The Sales Associate at FitSeed Consulting Inc. is responsible for driving sales and maintaining customer relationships within the Institutional Customer Division. This role requires flexibility and coordination with various stakeholders to achieve sales objectives, while also providing exceptional customer service and support.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customers and potential customers' facilities to provide information and support.
  • Establish, maintain, and develop business relationships with customers in the assigned territory.
  • Sell products to all customers in the assigned territory.
  • Anticipate customer needs and provide appropriate solutions to business problems.
  • Communicate plans to customers and manage resources to support sales volume.
  • Gather feedback and communicate new product opportunities to company staff.
  • Cooperate with the accounting department to ensure collection of accounts receivable.
  • Assist in establishing sales objectives for the territory with the Sales Manager.
  • Work with Operations and Logistics staff to achieve territory sales goals.
  • Provide timely reporting of field activities to assist in business planning.
  • Attend quarterly inventory counts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Degree / GED
  • 1-2 years of sales experience in the Asian food industry is desired
  • Familiarity with products and services offered by the company
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with word processing software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with sales staff, management, and clients
  • Strong communication and conversation skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to verify, draft, and update databases quickly and accurately
  • Ability to travel to customer locations
  • Ability to learn Oracle ERP software
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks under time constraints
  • Ability to multitask and keep projects progressing simultaneously
  • Outgoing, courteous, genuine, and approachable demeanor
  • Self-confident and mature with a positive attitude

  • Experience in the Asian food industry

  • Knowledge of Japanese or Chinese languages
