About the position

The Sales Associate position in Kill Devil Hills, NC, involves selling hard surface flooring and carpeting in a retail environment. Responsibilities

• Assist with the upkeep of the flooring warehouse
• Unload trucks or load out customers as needed
• Operate forklifts after training

Requirements

• Sales experience in a fast-paced retail environment
• Passion for customer service and a desire to grow within the company
• Customer-facing experience in sales, retail, or hospitality
• High School degree, GED, or equivalent
• Interest in home improvement and influencing flooring design choices
• Comfortable with technology, Microsoft Office products, and basic computer skills
• Engaging communication skills
• Ability to occasionally lift heavy boxes
• Willingness to learn and operate a forklift
