About the position

The Sales Associate at Specialty Gas House is responsible for assisting customers in selecting gas fireplaces, BBQ grills, and related products while providing exceptional customer service. This role emphasizes educating customers about products rather than high-pressure sales tactics, making it ideal for individuals passionate about outdoor living and BBQ.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in selecting gas fireplaces, BBQ grills, accessories, and related products.
• Provide product information, features, and benefits to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Demonstrate product usage and functionality to showcase the advantages of our products.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system.
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom, ensuring all products are properly displayed.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and receiving shipments.
• Build grills and refill propane tanks for customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and multitask effectively.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems (training will be provided).
• Enthusiasm for BBQ, outdoor living, and willingness to learn about gas fireplaces and grilling.
