About the position

The Sales Associate at All Weather Patio is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling outdoor furniture and home décor products. This role requires a self-motivated and energetic individual who can develop long-term relationships with customers while utilizing technology to enhance the shopping experience. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a focus on professional development and a family-oriented work culture.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests upon their arrival in the retail showroom and learning the motivation for their visit.
• Utilizing an iPad to present and discuss various home furnishings product options based on customer needs.
• Organizing and managing a prospective guest database by identifying and qualifying leads.
• Contacting guests to inform them about new sales and special events.
• Assisting customers in financing, purchasing, delivery, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Increasing personal knowledge of products, sales techniques, and promotions through continuous training.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Great listener.
• Computer knowledge.
• Ability to work some evenings and all weekends as part of a flexible schedule.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 years of retail sales experience (preferred)
