About the position

The Sales Associate at Torrid plays a crucial role in creating an inclusive and positive shopping experience for customers. This position involves supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit goals, leading a team, and ensuring operational excellence in the store. The Sales Associate will also focus on recruiting, training, and developing team members while maintaining a welcoming environment that encourages customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving company objectives and KPI goals.
• Provide leadership in running an operationally sound business by balancing company policies and procedures.
• Help recruit, develop, and train top talent focused on sales and customer service.
• Set an example for The Torrid Connection and ensure the team provides a positive shopping experience.
• Support the Store Manager in implementing merchandise strategies and maintaining a clean store environment.
• Maintain effective communication with the Store Manager and District Manager.

Requirements

• At least six months of specialty/apparel retail management experience.
• Proven ability to lead teams to success and achieve sales performance.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while creating an amazing customer experience.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing retail and fashion trends.
• Strong focus on current fashion trends.

Nice-to-haves
