About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting the sales process, and maintaining a positive store environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about sales, have a strong work ethic, and are eager to work in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services offered in the store
• Provide product demos and answer questions from customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
• Manage store inventory, including receiving and stocking shipments
• Support the sales process through upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Collaborate with coworkers to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and organized store
• Demonstrate basic math skills to handle cash and credit transactions
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a grocery store setting
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
• Experience with POS systems and inventory management
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Experience with product demos and sales techniques
• Proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus
