About the position

Travelzoo is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our Travel Sales team in Chicago. This entry-level position focuses on generating leads, building relationships with potential clients, and supporting the sales process to meet Travelzoo's standards. The role involves tracking sales leads, preparing contracts, and analyzing sales metrics, all while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads for deals that meet Travelzoo standards and delight members.
  • Build and foster relationships with potential clients to introduce Travelzoo advertising solutions.
  • Campaign on behalf of Travelzoo's members to source the best deals.
  • Maintain and track incoming sales leads.
  • Support the sales teams with sales processes, competitor monitoring, contracts preparation, and quality control.
  • Assemble data on key sales metrics for management.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of inside sales experience, preferably in digital advertising or digital products.
  • Degree-educated professional.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-starting problem solver, and target-driven.
