About the position

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team at SELECT LUXURY IMPORTS. The ideal candidate will enhance the shopping experience for our customers by providing exceptional service, demonstrating product knowledge, and effectively communicating with diverse customer groups. This entry-level position requires strong communication skills, basic math abilities, and a passion for retail sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and make customers feel welcome.
• Understand the features, capabilities, and characteristics of the vehicles.
• Discuss the customer's needs and interests to match them with the right vehicle.
• Demonstrate the vehicle's features by taking the customer on a test drive.
• Explain financing and lease options, and coordinate financing.
• Close sales by negotiating prices, overcoming objections, and completing sales contracts.
• Follow up with customers using the phone, internet, or other dealership technology.
• May be responsible for valuing used cars that customers are trading in or selling to the dealership.

Requirements

• 1 year of sales experience in a car dealership setting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customer groups.
• Basic math abilities.
• Valid Driver's License.
