About the position

The Sales Associate at Michael Kors is responsible for achieving sales goals and developing lasting client relationships through exceptional customer service. This role involves maximizing sales performance, maintaining knowledge of merchandise, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals
• Utilize elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performance
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the merchandise
• Monitor all details after closing a sale, including shipping and alterations
• Comply with all sales-related policies and procedures
• Maintain a keen interest in the fashion industry and market trends
• Provide the highest level of customer service
• Build and maintain repeat clientele using a client book
• Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively
• Keep the selling floor and merchandise neat, organized, and stocked
• Assist in the maintenance of all inventory in the stockroom and on the selling floor
• Assist in all areas of stock, shipping, receiving protocol/policies, and related paperwork
• Participate in inventories
• Comply with all Point-of-Sale policies and procedures
• Properly execute all relevant register functions
• Adhere to work schedule, including time and attendance
• Participate in all relevant training and development seminars, programs, and meetings as directed by store management

Requirements

• Passion for fashion and retail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred
• Knowledge of current fashion trends

• Previous experience in luxury retail
