About the position

Kosmik Brands is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Associate to join our team in Oklahoma. This role is integral to our growth within the medical marijuana industry, focusing on building strong relationships with dispensaries, driving sales growth, and ensuring customers have the best experience possible.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with dispensaries across Oklahoma to promote Kosmik Brands' products, educate clients, and meet sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain positive, long-lasting relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Drive revenue growth by understanding client needs, identifying upsell opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Monitor inventory levels, process orders, and track sales data using industry-standard software such as Metrc and Leaflink.
  • Conduct in-depth product demonstrations, explain product benefits, and share Kosmik Brands' values and story with customers.
  • Ensure complete and accurate compliance with Oklahoma's medical marijuana regulations, maintaining meticulous records in Metrc.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing and product teams to provide customer feedback, market insights, and recommend new product opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory updates specific to the Oklahoma medical marijuana market.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably within the cannabis, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of Metrc and Leaflink.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and cultivating strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients and handle inquiries professionally and effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving industry with changing regulations.
  • Knowledge of Oklahoma's medical marijuana laws and regulations.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple accounts and orders simultaneously.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel across Oklahoma.

  • Prior experience working with a cannabis brand or within the medical marijuana industry.
  • Strong network within Oklahoma's cannabis industry is a plus.
