About the position

The Sales Associate at Hollywood Feed plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining store operations. This entry-level position involves assisting customers, managing inventory, and ensuring a welcoming environment that aligns with the company's commitment to pet care and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers daily according to the Hollywood Feed customer service standards.
• Demonstrating the ability and knowledge to thoroughly explain the store products to best meet the pet and customer needs.
• Communicating openly and respectfully with supervisors and coworkers.
• Effectively operating both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintaining open and weekend availability.
• Unloading truck pallets and stocking shelves.
• Learning the Hollywood Feed point-of-sale system to check out customer purchases, create customer accounts, and open and close registers.
• Performing inventory management duties including inventories and cycle counts.
• Attending Hollywood Feed educational classes as scheduled.
• Keeping up with basic weekly store maintenance duties involving cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, dusting, creating displays, and putting out new pricing.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
