About the position

The Lane Bryant Associate is responsible for creating a hospitable store environment through customer engagement, contributing to the achievement of company goals. This role emphasizes the importance of strong communication skills and the ability to represent the brand effectively through fashion and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Identifies customer needs and wants through intentional conversation.
• Uses company resources to enhance the brand experience and build strong customer relationships.
• Shares and represents current products, fit, and fashion trends to inspire and build trust with customers.
• Supports operational tasks as needed to meet customer and business needs.
• Plans and prioritizes tasks to ensure a safe work environment and protect company assets.
• Follows all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal employment laws.

Requirements

• Strong sales or hospitality experience preferred with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient in utilizing mobile technology (e.g., registers and iPads) to engage with customers.
• Ability to adjust or move store fixtures and merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.
• Ability to retrieve merchandise displayed or stored above shoulder level, including climbing a 12-foot ladder.
