We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store.
• Communicate product features and benefits to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
• Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer needs are met.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product availability.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance on best practices for customer service and sales techniques.
• Utilize basic math skills to perform retail math calculations for inventory management and sales reporting.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular counts, and reporting discrepancies as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management tasks.
• Experience in upselling or sales techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative when needed.
