Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in locating products.
• Utilize POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain cash register integrity.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products effectively, focusing on upselling opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and inventory to provide accurate information to customers.
• Assist in restocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure an appealing shopping experience.
• Uphold store standards for cleanliness and organization throughout the sales floor.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette when necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math applications.
• Proficiency in cash handling procedures and experience with cash registers is a plus.
• A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
