About the position

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to identify their needs and preferences
• Provide product information and recommendations
• Process transactions accurately using cash registers and Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Assist in restocking merchandise and monitoring inventory levels
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
• Bilingual proficiency is a plus to assist non-native English-speaking customers

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Familiarity with supervising or leading a team is advantageous
• Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial
