The Sales Associate position at Pet Supermarket is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service and support to pet owners. The associate will assist customers in selecting products for their pets, maintain store organization, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service to enhance the shopping experience for customers and their pets.
• Assist customers with product selection and answer their questions throughout the store.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor in compliance with Brand Standards.
• Drive sales and service initiatives by demonstrating effective selling techniques.
• Clean pet enclosures and ensure all animals have appropriate food and water.
• Support the maintenance of the fish system and assist with restocking merchandise.
• Perform heavy lifting of up to 55lbs as required during shifts.
• Complete tasks and other duties as assigned by store management.

Requirements

• Preferred retail or customer service experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Enjoy working with and around animals.
