About the position

We are seeking dynamic and knowledgeable Marijuana Budtenders and Receptionists to join our team in Santa Ana. The ideal candidates will provide exceptional customer service, offer product recommendations, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. This role requires full availability and a passion for cannabis, along with a strong background in retail sales, particularly in the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, providing information about our products and answering questions.
• Conduct sales transactions, including cash handling and operating a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products, including strains, edibles, and concentrates.
• Offer personalized product recommendations to customers based on their preferences and needs.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase sales and promote the store's offerings.
• Manage inventory and restock shelves as needed.
• Perform basic math and retail math to process transactions accurately.
• Clean and maintain the store's interior and exterior, including the display cases and equipment.
• Supervise and assist other staff members as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and security.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Budtending Sales Experience
• Experience in retail sales, particularly in the cannabis industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic math and retail math skills
• Cash handling experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects
• Familiarity with local laws and regulations regarding cannabis sales
• Ability to pass a background check and comply with company security protocols

• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
