The Sales & Business Development Manager at Merit Financial Advisors is a pivotal role that focuses on marketing the firm to other financial institutions. The position requires scheduling appointments, meeting with new prospects, and diligently following up to cultivate a referral base. Tracking results from prospective client meetings and maintaining an updated referral list with the status of each prospect is essential. The manager will also perform initial qualification, vetting, and discovery of new clients, ultimately handing them off to the Merit advisor team. The role involves significant travel within the sales territory for prospective client meetings, making it essential for the manager to be adept at building relationships and navigating the financial services landscape.
