About the position

The Sales C-Stores Manager will be a key member of the National Convenience Store Sales team, responsible for managing assigned accounts and driving sales growth through collaboration with the existing customer base. The role involves working closely with processing facilities and distribution centers to address issues and seize opportunities related to Convenience Store customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop existing customer base to grow sales volumes and profits for the department.
  • Initiate, develop, execute, service, and manage sales for designated accounts across the total product offering.
  • Communicate with customers on all aspects of orders processed, including production, required documents, final delivery, and billing information.
  • Understand overall company sales priorities and work collaboratively to support the highest overall company profitability.
  • Manage select accounts and provide backup capacity to handle accounts when shorthanded.
  • Work with internal and external departments to resolve issues such as payment deductions, service level disputes, and quality concerns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the fresh produce industry.
  • Experience working with convenience stores, foodservice distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with customers and team members at all levels.
  • Ability to develop new business while managing existing accounts.
  • General understanding of receivables and deductions.
  • College Degree in a related field from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook); SAP and Power BI experience is a plus.
