About the position

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Provide outstanding customer service and react to customer concerns promptly.
• Sell merchandise and demonstrate technical features of items sold.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and participate in inventory processes.
• Replenish stock and maintain merchandise in a presentable condition.
• Advise supervisor of customer requests and feedback.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and give accurate change.
• Maintain sales records and balance cash register at the end of shifts.
• Perform price changes and set up promotional displays as needed.
• Follow all policies regarding loss prevention and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and explain product literature.
• Basic math skills for counting, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing for inventory purposes.
• Ability to routinely lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
