About the position

The Sales Compensation Analyst II at Cox Communications is responsible for providing operational, analytical, and support services related to variable pay and compensation for the Cox Residential Sales Team. This role involves conducting research on sales plan performance, creating reporting packages, managing change processes, and participating in cross-functional projects. The analyst will work under supervision in a team environment, contributing to the design and effectiveness analysis of compensation plans.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research pertaining to sales plan performance, behavior, and effectiveness.
  • Present and document periodic compensation plan analysis, making recommendations based on commission plan performance.
  • Create and deliver leader-level reporting packages for all aspects of compensation with insights into business drivers.
  • Present results and findings with recommendations to leaders.
  • Manage change processes through documentation of program plans, policies, and guidelines.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams on ad hoc compensation-related projects and initiatives.
  • Secure buy-in from a diverse audience.
  • Participate in the delivery of training information and/or tutorials.
  • Promote awareness of the Commission System and current trends in effective compensation/performance management.
  • Work with the Commission System Team to develop and administer related tools, training, and strategies.
  • Assist in the implementation of local and corporate compensation strategies/initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience, or a master's degree with up to 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Ability to interpret business objectives and incorporate them into Commission System terms.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or Finance.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
