About the position

The Sales Compensation Analyst II at Cox Communications is responsible for providing operational, analytical, and support services related to variable pay and compensation for the Cox Residential Sales Team. This role involves reporting, quota setting, compensation plan design, effectiveness analysis, and data management, all aimed at enhancing the sales compensation process. The analyst will work collaboratively within a team and under supervision to ensure effective compensation strategies are implemented and communicated.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on sales plan performance and effectiveness.
• Present and document periodic compensation plan analysis with recommendations.
• Create and deliver leader-level reporting packages on compensation insights.
• Manage the change process through documentation of program plans and policies.
• Participate in cross-functional teams on ad hoc compensation-related projects.
• Secure buy-in from diverse audiences for compensation initiatives.
• Deliver training information and tutorials on compensation systems.
• Promote awareness of the Commission System and current compensation trends.
• Collaborate with the Commission System Team to develop related tools and strategies.
• Assist in implementing local and corporate compensation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience, or a master's degree with up to 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in processing, interpreting, and resolving complex issues.
