About the position

The Sales Compensation Analyst II at Cox Communications is responsible for providing operational, analytical, and support services related to variable pay and compensation for the Cox Residential Sales Team. This role involves reporting, quota setting, compensation plan design, effectiveness analysis, and data management, all aimed at enhancing the sales compensation process. The analyst will work collaboratively in a team environment while also operating independently to deliver insights and recommendations based on compensation plan performance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on sales plan performance, behavior, and effectiveness.
  • Present and document periodic compensation plan analysis, making recommendations based on commission plan performance.
  • Create and deliver leader-level reporting packages for all aspects of compensation, providing insights into business drivers.
  • Present results and findings with recommendations to leadership.
  • Manage the change process through documentation of program plans, policies, and guidelines.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams on ad hoc compensation-related projects and initiatives.
  • Secure buy-in from a diverse audience for compensation strategies.
  • Deliver training information and tutorials on compensation systems and trends.
  • Work with the Commission System Team to develop and administer related tools and training.
  • Assist in implementing local and corporate compensation strategies and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years of experience, or a master's degree with up to 2 years of experience, or 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Ability to conceptualize data related to compensation and goal attainment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or Finance.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
